Gary Moore (2007-2008 Historian) is looking for pictures!

If you have any pictures that you took this past band season please send him an email and advise

what format they are in and make arrangements to get them to him.

These will be used to create a slide show for the banquet and for archives.

The Current plan is this: The school district is going to purchase a one ton pickup truck capable of pulling a 48 foot gooseneck trailer. They are also going to help us procure said trailer. More details to come. The booster club will be putting it's $14,000 towards the trailer and customization.

LETTER WRITING CAMPAIGN

80% OF ALL DONATIONS GOES INTO THE STUDENT’S FUND, 20% TO THE BAND BOOSTER GENERAL FUND TO SUPPORT THE BAND.

 IT’S EASY, IT’S QUICK (not even 15 minutes of your time)

 ALL YOU HAVE TO DO:

  • FILL OUT 5 OF THE FORM LETTERS, SIGN THEM, fold them and put them in AN envelope (Get Letters and envelopes from the blue box in the Directors office OR download and print out the letter from here and supply your own envelopes

  • ADDRESS THE 5 ENVELOPES AND PLACE A STAMP ON EACH ONE

  • DO NOT SEAL YOUR ENVELOPES – REPEAT DO NOT SEAL

    THE ENVELOPES

  • RETURN UNSEALED ENVELOPES TO THE BAND HALL (plastic blue box in Director’s office) We will put the 2-copy pledge form into the envelope and mail it for you. (we are tracking participation)

  • YOU MAY DO AS MANY LETTERS AS YOU WANT, 5 IS JUST THE MINIMUM

 MRS. BECKENBACH WILL DO THE FOLLOWING:

·      INSERT A PLEDGE FORM AND RETURN ENVELOPE INTO THE ENVELOPE WITH YOUR LETTER, THEN DROP IT IN THE MAIL (here is a SAMPLE copy of the pledge form we will be inserting)

·      RECORD INCOMING DONATIONS AND REPORT PROGRESS.

100% PARTICIPATION WILL MAKE THIS FUNDRAISER A  BIG SUCCESS. 

JUST THINK ABOUT IT….IF $100.00 WERE BROUGHT IN PER STUDENT x 160 STUDENTS…$16,000. 

$12,800 TO STUDENT ACCOUNTS, $3,200 TO BAND BOOSTERS!! That will go a long way towards paying for the

participating student’s band trip next year and will help the band boosters to support the needs of the band.

 THINK ABOUT THE POSSIBILITIES!!!
