During the intermission of the Honors Band performance at the Spring Concert, and in front of a host pf parents and concert goers, a name was drawn from nearly 900 ticket stubs. The Winner of a new Apple iPAD, Rick Herschman, was announced. The Lucky winner, Rick, purchased a packets of five tickets the morning of the drawing. Congratulations Rick and thanks to all who supported the Band in this fundraiser. Each student that sold 5 tickets earned one chance per five tickets for a prize drawing of $100 gift card. In a random drawing witnessed by the Band Directors and a few students, Courtney Jackson won the prize. Courtney sold 200 tickets and thus had 40 chances to win. Thank you and congratulations Courtney.

She will attend the University Of Louisiana, Lafayette in the fall, and will later transfer to Louisiana State, Baton Rouge, Majoring in Music/Pre-dentistry, and continuing to play the bass clarinet in the Rajun Cajun Band.
Chase Romere
Chase began playing the clarinet in sixth grade. As a ninth grader, he played in the Freshman All-Region Band, and from tenth to twelfth grade, he played in the high school Region Band.
